Factory Tours
We offer two types of behind the scenes experience at PECO - A 2 hour 'Silver Experience' tour which offers a full tour of our production facillity and a full-day 'Gold Experience' which also gives you access to Pecorama Gardens & Trains, a unique lunch onboard the 1950s Pullman carriage Orion, a Q&A with a PECO Head Of Department and the chance to get hands-on and make your own souvenir wagon, as well as a fantastic goodie bag to take home with you!

The Gold Experience - PECO Factory Tour (1 day)
PECO ‘Tours’ is a new programme which will offer enthusiasts, clubs & associations, the opportunity to see what PECO does and how it manufactures all of its products in the UK.
Full day experience, £65 for one person or £120 for two people
Join us for a unique behind-the-scenes experience as we open the doors to our PECO factory. See where model railway track, wagons and accessories have been rolling off the production line for the last 80 years. We’re proud to still be designing and manufacturing everything right here in Devon.
See for yourself how we turn raw materials into finished products on a 2-hour guided tour. You’ll watch track components being assembled, learn about the different machines we use and see the finished products being packaged, ready for shipping around the world.
You’ll also have time to visit Pecorama. You’ll take a ride on the acclaimed Beer Heights Light Railway and enjoy the sea views from our spectacular gardens.
A light lunch is served followed by a 30 minute Q&A and discussion with one of the PECO managers where you’ll be able to ask questions of our seasoned industry expert.
You’ll then get ‘hands-on’ and make your very own souvenir limited edition 009-scale wagon. At the end of your time with us you’ll visit our model railway exhibition and shop, where you’ll be able to take advantage of an exclusive 10% discount.
Your day will start at 9:30am, please meet at the Orion carriage.
As this is a working Factory, Please ensure you are wearing close toed shoes.
