PECO 'Tours'
PECO ‘Tours’ is a new programme which will offer enthusiasts, clubs & associations, the opportunity to come and see what PECO does and how it manufactures all of its model railway track & accessories right here in the UK.
The tours will allow visitors to learn about how products are taken from concept through to creation and to see the PECO business in full operation and the processes in which its products undergo.
There will be opportunities to ask questions, handle product, see the entire process of parts being assembled, and at the end of the day, a Q&A and discussion with one of the PECO senior management, on the Pullman Orion carriage, as well as lunch on board.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to assemble their own bespoke limited edition wagon, which will be unqiue to the factory tour visit, and be 1 of only 16 in existence.
On arrival, visitors will be welcome by the Customer Experience Officer and Tour Guides, and offered coffee, tea & biscuits, before watching a short film informing them of the tour itself, a brief history of the company, and also the main manufacturing processes.
Lunch will be provided and refreshments will also be provided at times throughout the day.
At the end of the day visitors will be given a special PECO goodie bag to take home, as well as offered a 10% discount to be used in the model shop.
