This is not a hands on course, We do encourage you to ask questions throughout each topic of the course to get as much information as you need.

Installing Turnouts and Connecting Tracks A full demonstration of turnout installation, including how to correctly align and connect the tracks leading from them.

Using the 6’ Way Gauge Practical instruction on using the 6’ way gauge to maintain correct spacing and alignment across your layout.

Laying Curved Track and Avoiding Dog-Legs Methods for forming clean, consistent curves and creating joints that maintain smooth transitions.

Track Wiring Theory An accessible explanation of Insulfrog, Electrofrog, and Unifrog turnouts, and how each behaves with analogue and DCC control systems. A detailed wiring leaflet is included for reference.
